Hawk Eyes

Today we worked on the Harold Way & Van Ness site...attending to & adding more plants to our garden. This Hawk had his eyes on us....pretty amazing to discover!!! I hope that he watches over it!

Riding the rails...

My first trip on the underground rails of LA was just a week ago...yes, I've been here for the majority of my life, which is why I haven't experienced it..the thought of being down there in the event of an earthquake, uh...I can handle them above ground but, quite frankly being down there when it happens, well it scares the bejesus out of me...but, when the opportunity arose, with the chance to go with friends I couldn't pass it up..we rode downtown to go enjoy Biz Markie DJ a set in the middle of Chinatown. Lots of fun!!

SEED BOMB WORKSHOP

I hosted a Seed Bomb Workshop at my house today...lots of fun & can't wait to start using them!! I hear that we should be getting some rain this next weekend so it was great timing. I'm going to be chucking mine in my neighborhood so I can keep track of the results...hopefully it won't be to dry here for them to succeed. California Native seeds were used so the chances are high that they will survive.
